Leavened

Leavened is a locally owned artisan bakery and cafe in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood, operating from its bakeshop at 1633 Auburn Ave. The bakery bakes breads and artisan pastries from scratch daily, including classic French-style items such as croissants, baguettes, and Pain de Mie. The cafe also serves coffee (from locally roasted Duck Rabbit beans), grab-and-go sandwiches, and vegan and specialty soups, plus occasional pizza and other seasonal pastry offerings.

Croissant
Classic croissants with seasonal/special fillings; made with European-style butter and fermented over 48 hours. Variants include classic butter, chocolate, toasted nuts, and meat/cheese.
Baguette
Classic French baguette with a crisp thin crust and flavorful crumb; available as full size, demi, or epi.
Pain de Mie
Classic French-style sandwich bread made with white and whole wheat flours with a touch of milk and honey; soft and pillowy.
Assorted coffee (Duck Rabbit beans)
Coffee bar using Duck Rabbit Coffee beans; specialty drinks can be made with Califia Oat Milk or Hartzler Whole Milk, with flavor add-ins by request.
Grab-and-go sandwiches (daily vegan option)
Daily vegan option available; an ever-changing selection of hearty grab-and-go lunch sandwiches served starting at 10am.
