Bistro

La Bonne Table is a Hillcrest-area San Diego French bistro serving “traditional French cuisine” in a cozy, Paris-inspired setting. The owners (Renaud and co-owner Sandra Cugusi) describe transforming a former wine bar into a French restaurant in 2014. The dinner menu features classic dishes such as soupe à l’oignon, escargots, house pâté, steak frites, confit de canard, and moules in lobster bisque. Reservations are recommended; hours run mainly Tue–Sat evenings.
