Bistro

Sardine is a lakeside bistro and bar at 617 Williamson St in Madison’s Machinery Row area. Co-owners and chefs John Gadau and Phillip Hurley opened the restaurant in spring 2006 and emphasize “place” and classic tradition with a focus on local ingredients. The dinner menu includes French-influenced starters, seafood and entrée mains, and bistro desserts such as apple tarte Tatin and butterscotch pot de crème. Dinner is served Sunday–Thursday 5–9pm and Friday–Saturday 5–10pm.
