Bistro

La Sirène SoHo is an intimate SoHo bistro built around homemade French cooking (“Cuisine bourgeoise du Midi”). The page explains it began in 2007 when Chef Didier converted a former barber shop in downtown New York into a small bistro, later expanding by acquiring adjacent rooms. The menu centers southern French flavors with classic preparations such as French onion soup au gratin, escargots à la bourguignonne, steak tartare, and foie gras, plus main dishes including duck, rabbit, and Provençal-style lamb. The restaurant is BYOB (no corkage Sunday–Thursday).
